THE SHORT ANSWER

Choose original audio instead of YouTube auto-dubbing

YouTube documents original-audio selection per video and preferred-language controls; it does not promise a global off switch for every auto-dub.

Here’s how to do it.

4 steps
FOLLOW ALONG0 / 4 steps completed
  1. 01Open an auto-dubbed video.
  2. 02Tap or click the video player Settings icon.
  3. 03Open Audio track and choose the original language when offered.
  4. 04In YouTube account Settings, add your preferred languages to reduce unwanted automatic translations.

Before you go

Original audio is offered only when the video has that track. Preferred languages influence defaults; they are not a guaranteed global disable switch.
