Less noise.
Less data.
Effective October 31, 2026. STOP THAT! is designed to work without an account or third-party analytics scripts.
Search and saved fixes
Issue search and ranking happen in your web browser from a static catalog. Your search phrases are not sent to an AI API or search backend. Saved fix IDs, your device filter and your “found it / menu changed” choices are stored in your browser’s localStorage. Clearing site data removes them.
Requests and community features
On a basic drag-and-drop deployment, the Request a fix form copies a summary to your clipboard: no request is transmitted to STOP THAT!. If the operator enables the optional Cloudflare D1 database and server API, submitting a request sends your text, device category and submission time to the operator for editorial moderation. Do not include passwords, precise locations, account information or private screenshots. A non-reversible hash of the request IP address may be stored for spam-rate limiting; the raw address is not stored in the app database. Optional anonymous feedback can also be sent only when you click its submit button.
Hosting and links
Cloudflare serves site files and may process standard network logs according to its hosting policies. Clicking an external official documentation link takes you to that provider, which applies its own privacy practices. The site uses your device’s system fonts; no external font provider is loaded.
Cookies, ads and profiles
No advertising network, tracker, login or analytics cookie is included in this build. The app does not create user profiles. If you later enable analytics or advertising, update this page and review consent requirements before launch.
Removing data
To remove local information, clear this website’s stored data in your browser. If the optional server request database is enabled, the site operator manages deletion requests and retention in the Cloudflare dashboard. This starter build does not offer identity verification or a user-account data portal.
